Brew Rebellion's Blueberry Tart Sour Ale. 5.1% ABV.
A: Ooh. A finger and a half of light pink head. Medium, opaque pink sienna. Hazy pink in the dimple. Decent lacing; light, but solid sheeting.
S: Tart and funky up front. Dirt, hay, sweettarts. Lighter blueberry juice right behind. Not in-your-face. Just pleasantly sour.
T/MF: The flavor is also on the lighter side, but the flavor components are all there. Sweettarts, including the dry chalky powder taste. Fresh blueberry, and raspberry seed. A bit of hay towards the back of the tongue. A bit of earth back there, as well. A really good intro sour, since it has the good points, but they don't knock you on your ass, or leave you unable to taste anything else.
Poured from a 22 oz. bottle, into a Belgian tulip glass.
