Remedy, our American-style Pale ale collaboration brew with Professor Green. With this beer we wanted to create an authentically British take on the popular wets Cost US Pale ales using 100% British hops and malts. Professor Green and ourselves spent a long time in taste testing and then creating a recipe for a beer that entertains from the first sip down to the end of the very last bottle. Northdown and Challenger hops provide the refreshing and slightly bitter notes which characterise this beer and a late hopping give the strong almost 'green' aroma.

Amber coloured beer from 330ml bottle (why not the standard 500ml bottle? it's not that fancy) with white head gradually dissipating to rim. The nose is difficult to place: maybe gooseberry and a little dried fruit. The taste is initially sweeter than the nose suggests, white sugar on the tongue with a fruity tang: it starts off a bit like an amber. The hops are a tad metallic and herbal. Not bad, but not big. Not what I'd hope for from an APA, but I'd be content with this if I was told it was an EPA.
