Pint in The Old White Swan, York (£6):
Pale golden, hazy & a disappointing white lacing that's bubbly around the circumference but stays throughout at least. The nose is lighter than expected, mainly citrus notes with some mango & pineapple, pine hops & a few grassy notes but could have been stronger. Slightly stronger than the nose but similar, pine hops & citrus are most pronounced then some floral flavours. It's shape with a light-medium body & zesty feel but it's a very standard IPA, nothing special sadly.

On cask. Pours clear light honey brown colour with small large-bubble head, medium retention, and spotty lace. Nose is mildly hoppy with earthy and some citrus notes. Taste is fuller, with a good malt/hop balance. Earthy as well, with just the slightest residual sweetness and lingering bitterness. Overall, a decent brew that won't blow you away.
