Contemporary New Zealand pale ale brewed with Pacific Jade, Wai-iti & Motueka.A pale ale with aromas of lychee & overripe tropical fruits from the hops, stone fruit aromas brought by the yeast. On the palate, a soft opening bitterness gives way to tropical hoppy flavours from the blend of some of our favourite hops from New Zealand. We have gone for a gentle carbonation to give a light effervescent mouth feel.

Pint in Mackie Mayor (£5.70):
Clear, light amber with a thin, foamy white lacing on the surface that's very slightly patchy too. Citrus & faint pine open the nose, some mango & light tropical notes too but nothing stands out really. It's subtle piney with light citrus & a faint tang then some pineapple & lychee but it is softly carbonated, bordering on flat or almost like a cask beer. It's medium bodied & semi-dry with a nice balance but it's nothing to write home about really.
