Pours a dark mahogany brown with a creamy tan head. Nice caramel and toffee notes on the nose, and a bit of grassy hop aromas as well.
The caramel and toffee dominate the taste, and are truly delicious, but it’s the bit of grassy noble hop flavor that balances things and elevates the beer substantially.
Very crisp mouthfeel, this Schwarzbier is truly a pleasure to drink.
