This Belgian saison has a bright cherry flavor, light body and tart finish. It was brewed with Washington barley malt, Oregon cherries, Oregon hops and kettle-soured with Oregon yogurt.

Served on tap at Ecliptic brewpub.
A: dark in the restaurant but it looked a dark color, possibly brown or dark red.
S: Bland malts.
T: Neutral sweet malts with a slight saison yeast barnyard funk. The finish is slightly tart with a weird aftertaste that lingers (from the yogurt?). I didn't detect cherries at all. The sweetness builds as you drink it.
M: Light body - too light for the style. Low carbonation for the style.
O: Bland and not memorable. Too sweet to finish.
Categorized as a "Belgian Sour" on the menu. The server maid fun of Belgian style beers needing fancy classes and said this one didn't need that. The beer is definitely uses a saison yeast and isn't a sour.
