Handsome amber brew with long-lasting white foam in the Orval chalice. Invitingly fruity with peach and guava in the nose. Sudsy mouthfeel is another plus. Malty with crackers and cookies and a persistent flavor of pineapple and apricot.
The flavor is mellow and fruity. The passionfruit has a nice acidic edge that goes well with the malty, higher-strength brew. Alcohol isn't evident by taste. this is one of the better fruit-flavored beers I"ve had this year. Purchased at Grapevine Liquors in Denver.
