16oz. can poured into a pint glass...beautiful bronze color with a one inch head...slightly hoppy aroma, but a classic lager smell for sure....nice smooth slightly hoppy characteristic pilsner flavor. I'm not sure what an Italian style pilsner is, and considering this has all German hops makes it even more confusing. This is definitely a delicious pilsner though.

a collaboration with ruse, and a delightful hoppy lager, crisp and light, well hopped up, but very clean, well refined, and drinkable, perfect for summer. nearly perfectly clear, extremely pale, and heady from the tap at the brewery. the aroma is fresh and hoppy, noble but more grassy lawn than spicy, some bitterness evident for sure. the lager yeast is pretty out of the way in aroma and flavor, very mild, maybe lightly european, but this is more about the hops than the ferment in terms of the taste. moderate bitterness, lots of flavor, a gentle lemon and tea thing, slightly herbal there, very fresh, and really fast finishing and dry. the grain is a simple pils malt base, also fresh, just enough of a base to balance. this tastes like an old world pils meets a tastefully done american india pale lager, somewhere in between i reckon, each sip is crisp and satisfying, and this has a lot of flavor for such a light and drinkable beer. i was happy to see this collaboration on tap when we were at ecliptic, especially since we didnt get to make it to ruse on the trip. this is really good.

16oz can courtesy of @beertunes stamped 04-28-20 (canned on date, about 1 month old at time of review) poured into a becher glass at fridge temp 5.3% ABV. The beer pours mostly bright straw yellow with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin ring single layer of bubbles. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring citrus, stone fruit and white grape from the dry hopping. The taste is dry, earthy pale malt with a moderate to strong bitterness and residual, lingering grape skin flavor. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, good beer that I would call an IPL. From what a quick Google search turns up, this is a textbook Italian pilsner, so there's that. Very dry and mega dry hopped with new release German hops.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 04-28-20
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice clean/clear golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice citrus complex (lemon), wheaty, with some pepper. The taste is very nice, malty, hoppy, with a pretty nice citrus complex (lemon), nice little wheaty, with a nice touch of pepper. Medium Body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew, a very nice thirst quencher. Nice to see it around.

16oz can (date unreadable) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear, bright yellow color with 1/3 inch of white head that had moderate retention and very light lacing.
Solid lemon at the front of the nose, with light grain and floral hops in the background.
No lemon on the tongue, just the solid and expected grains and floral hops of the style
The body was light, crisp clean, and had a dry finish.
Drinkability was good, you could knock back a couple with no problem.
Overall, a pleasant and solid brew. Worth a shot if you see it.

Can from Market of Choice.
A clear light yellow with a dense white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing, this looks solid. The nose is solid. Plenty hoppy with lemon, earth and a little soap, light melon. Very clean. The palate opens with a lot of hop flavor and a rather prominent bitterness. Lemony and soapy with a little melon, there's a touch of berry as well. The malt base is clean with clean grain and light straw. The mouthfeel is a little disappointing, it's a blend of watery on the mid palate and overcarbonated, thanks to which a harsh acidity is amplified. Light in body, this beer is solid.
