16oz can (Of course. Dated 7/9/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fully murky dark yellow color with 2/3 inch of white head that had moderate dissipation and light lacing.
The beer contains pineapple, coconut, passionfruit, almond, cinnamon, and spices. Whew! Fruitiness is certainly at the front of the nose, with the spice component notable in the background. Know what ya can't smell? Beer.
Pineapple is what dominates the tongue, with coconut around the edges, and a significant cinnamon burn on the finish.
The body was smooth, and the anticipated medium-thin of the style. Drinkability was OK, but that cinnamon burn really built up about halfway through.
Overall, this "Tropical Ale" has the tropical part down, but not so much the Ale part. Try it for science. Or don't, wutever.
