collaboration with reubens, so glad to have both of these breweries in boise now, this is really tasty, a bit of a hazy type with a whole boatload of hops that is somehow cohesive and not kitchen sinky, didnt necessarily expect that. i dont always love azacca, but always better when with others, and it brings a lot here, sort of green spiciness in an otherwise juicy mix of hops to me, dynamic then, both in aroma and flavor. deeper rust orange color on this, frothy white head from the tap, uniform cloudiness but not super dense or anything. very fresh in aroma, close to maxed out on the hops, mosaic pineapple first to me, but some weedy dankness too, sweet orange, juicy melon, and maybe a papaya or something tropical, definitely fruit first, but with a rather sturdy support base from the grain, just a touch of sweetness in the mix there. the flavor has good balance, and i like the bit of finishing bitterness too, always appreciate that even in the mostly dry hopped ones. hints of citrus, mango, and wet grass in the hop complexion, some earthy cereal grain at the base and not as wheaty and oaty as some, not so fluffy, and really nicely carbonated. pretty complex with all the hop varietals, and it warms up well, a little oily residual thing on the tongue after each sip. nice beer, sort of west coast meets east coast, fragrant and flavorful and unsurprisingly well made from these two.

16 oz. Can
Canned: 02/22/22
2022 Edition
Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice hazy yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango), pretty nice kinda piney/diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango), pretty nice kinda piney/diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer.

Light-to-medium haze, golden body, fluffy off-white head. Lots of fruity pith and minor pine as well as a solid bready malt backbone on the nose. More grapefruit pith and citrus peel on the palate, surprising bitterness, and dry. Its OK.

Pint at Westside Taphouse in West Salem OR.
$6.00.
A lighter golden colored IPA. Small yet persistent frothy white head
Fruity NZ style hops. Grape skin and preaches.
Taste similar. Very juicy but bitter in the end. Balances out.
I liked the mouth feel. .medium body but we'll carbonated . Dry finish.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy orange golden pour, small creamy white head. Faint aroma of bread and citrus. Taste is subdued, oranges, citrus peel, dry and bitter. A bit underwhelming
