16oz can from Tavour. Dark clear golden pour, one finger lasting white foamy head. Aroma is caramel and oranges. Taste brings an undercurrent of toffee malts topped by layers of earthy, citrusy hops. Sweet then dries out a little.

ive been lucky enough to have a bunch from this collaboration series now, definitely catching this one fresher than i have many of the others, really nice beer, apparently a combination of the hops used in ecliptics famous starburst and boneyards famous rpm, makes good sense to me! deep honey to brass color on this one, clear and shiny, with a very airy and lasting white head, looks almost belgian its so excited, gorgeous. the nose is very northwestern, bitter grapefruit, dank and resinous, pine and gin, not unfamiliar at all, but very pungent and fresh, faintly toasted on the grain side but still somewhat light there, especially for its higher abv. in the flavor its a little spicy up front, woodsy and woody both, milled lumber and pine needles, tangerine and meyer lemon citrus, a juicy melon thing late too, becoming more dynamic as it warms up. oily on the palate but still drinks pretty light for what it is, enough balance from the grain, and fresh there, but largely out of the way, and nothing at all from the yeast. this is juicy, vibrant, and just bitter enough, seemingly more ecliptic than boneyard, but i can appreciate elements from both of the beers that inspired this. still, i dont think i like it better than either on their own, not generic really, but less distinctive i think all combined, and fresh and pungent as this is, it also lingers a little strange. pleasantly light, but not as epic as i anticipated it being, given the magnitude of these two breweries and the two beers that gave rise to this...

Canned Feb 22nd. A collab between Ecliptic and Boneyard, both known for their IPAs.) Pour is an unfiltered light amber, tight frothy head with some staying power. You pick up aroma of citrus, along with stone fruit and a hint of dankness. The hop profile is really well crafted (well, duh) and quite smooth and clean. Long finish. A solid malt base holds up its end of things. A very solid IPA and it delivers.

Handsome orange amber brew with plenty of foam in the Kasteel chalice. Collaboration with Boneyard Brewing. A bunch of different hops in this one. Pleasantly sudsy on the tongue. Aroma of citrus. Flavors of mango and orange, pineapple and cucumber. Quite hopped up, and plenty bitter in the aftertaste, but not out of control. Really quite tasty in the big IPA vein with substantial malty sweetness. A decent balance among all the malt and hops and sharp mouthfeel. This would have made a great DIPA with a little higher octane. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Quite fresh: dated 02/21/23.
