Canned on: ????
Many thx to muchloverforhops3 for this can.
A - Pitch black pour with a dense caramel layer resting on top.
S - Toasted cocoa, chocolate and chocolate char, and a slight bit of mineral on the nose.
T - Chocolate malt is very light up front with a little bit of cream. But, after the sip is where this beer really shines as the roasty chocolate char comes on like a freight train and lingers on the palate.
M - Medium body with prickly carbonation and a tad thin around the edges.
O - A solid Porter!

Dark brown our, thick head with staying power. Nose has coffee, dark roasted bread, hint of licorice. Body is thick and moderately dry, not sweet like some Porters. Carbonation is good and stays with it for a long timeVery tasty, sip gently as the beer warms which will bring out more of the chocolate while the coffee persists. ABV is just 7.6%.
