Pours from a 16 oz. can. Sampled on Nov. 25, 2019.
Not a bad looking cloudy orange-yellow color with a foamy, lacing-leaving white head. Not opaque like other NEIPAs.
The aroma emits sensations of tropical fruits, melon, berries, and a lower profile white bread graininess. It smells clean though.
Medium body.
A quick sweet tease in the flavor following immediately by the tropical, berry, and melon fruit characters of the hops. Mild lingering finish. Decent enough.

Not bad for Gneiss’s first neipa. Look is a golden murky color with minimal head and spotty lacing. Smells of melon and tropical fruit. Taste of melon, strawberry. Feel is smooth but k8nd of watery for a neipa. Overall this is a decent brew made with El Dorado and hull Melon hops.
For anyone wondering Hull Melon hops are a newer hop that was made by crossbreeding in Hull,Germany. It is the daughter of Cascade hops. Says the taste provides a distinct melon aroma and flavor with notes of fresh strawberries. Cheers!
