Nitro-tap at Banter, Brooklyn, NY
A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a half finger high dark tan head that died down but consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of chai spices are present in the nose.
T: The taste is a near mirror image of the smell and is mostly dominated by flavors of chair spices and a bit of dark and chocolate malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied and quite smooth (from the nitro) on teh palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has strong aromas and flavors of chai spices, and is more like a chai drink than a stout. If you like chai, you would like this beer.
