Took a walk down to the brewery when I was in NOLA. Big props to the Bartenders who were drinking 4x envie and monkish when we got there. Ordered this one on the bartenders suggestion. Drank out of a tulip. Beer comes in a medium gold color with a medium plus to full haze and a light rocky head. Aroma is surprisingly muted for 10+%. Juicy but not super tropical. Mostly overripe mango. I can detect some booze on the nose as well. Flavor translates to the palate along with a boozy sweetness. Relatively light bitterness. Mouthfeel is good but for 10% I was expecting more creaminess. Overall, I like this beer and am glad I ordered it but it's far from the best triple IPA I've had. 89 points.

Pours dull milky orange, spotty lacing. Sweet juicy aroma with melon notes. Citrusy melony hops fill the taste with a nice semi sweet backbone. Well balanced but definitely hop forward. A little alcohol peeks through in the dry grassy herbal finish. Medium soft feel.
