Opaque straw yellow to light tan with a short off-white head clinging in garter lacing.
Chewy, nutty papaya meets dry and cannabic resins with light accents of yes, tropical fruit candies, though they're taking a backseat to the explosive bomb of dankness.

Pours hazy yellow with a thin head. A few floaties that look more like hop flakes than yeast.
The nose and taste are mango, orange, and some raw hop intensity. The mouthfeel is medium.
This was tapped yesterday and will probably settle in a week or so. It's already a pretty good NE-DIPA on day 2.
Definitely worth a try.

a hazy ipa hopped heavily with nelson, definitely my favorite of the hoppy stuff we had at courtyard. it looks almost as murky and thick as the rest of them (they seem to make a fair few beers in this hazy style), but the aroma and flavor of the hops is superior, just incredible really, with a hugely juicy nose, pineapple and white grape and underripe peach, dripping and bursting and so fresh. it comes through great in the flavor, the essence of nelson, and a great illustration of why i love this hop, its just so distinct, fruity in its own way, and really big here, oily even, well dosed. there is more bitterness here than i am used to from nelson alone, but i like what it adds, helping this finish and giving a more complete hop profile to it. white peach, riesling, honey, vegetal bitterness, and even a green tea herbal quality. delicious and rich tasting, a nice full body to it and even a creamy feel, better carbonation than many of the others. it drinks a lot easier than almost 9% abv, dangerously so. overall a great beer, the best ipa we had here, and an awesome expression of one of my favorite hops. really dug this one, super fresh, dont miss it!
