$6 per 16oz draught pour @ the brewery.
"West coast IPA" brewed with Centennial, Amarillo, and Columbus hops. 7.2% ABV.
APPEARANCE: Hazy murky orange-yellow. Looks like fruit juice, not a (filtered) West coast IPA.
Taste is fruit juice, citrus, guava, with wheat malt and 2-row. Not seeing how this is a so-called West coast IPA (it seems indistinguishable from the Johnny come lately turbid IPAs all the kids these days love). Fails to showcase its chosen hops well, coming up short in terms of hop pungency and depth of flavour.
Drinkable inasmuch as it's alcoholic fruit juice. An India Odwalla Ale to be sure...this will get the trendchasers going, but it's not a well brewed (West coast) IPA. Amarillo and Centennial are 2 of my top 5 favourite hops, but they're wasted on this.
