I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery in New Orleans. The menu calls this a West Coast IPA with simcoe, amarillo, and cashmere hops.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of white foam.
Smell: citrusy hops with a bready malt base. Not super complex, but not too bad.
Taste: malty with kind of a musty, citrusy hop flavor. It's decent, but kind of messy — the mustiness is the real drawback here.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess. Interesting!
Overall: I mean, the mustiness is kind of a problem for me. Not terrible, perhaps, but really not my thing.
