Can't get a head from this beer, none whatsoever, even after a very aggresive pour. Body is a hazy gold color with almost no carbonation visible. Smell is slightly musty, with some hop characteristics, and slightly grassy malt. Taste is lightly fruity and malty, with some sweetness and a little funk to it. Not much in the way of carbonation, which wold have helped this beer, IMHO. Still interesting, as this is my first beer from India, and it is surprising that thye would be making such a rare German beer style (usually they are euro lagers or adjunct lagers that are just a novelty based on the fast that they are from some exotic country).

Bottle. When poured, this beer formed a small fizzy white head with fine sized bubbles that mostly diminished. Carbonation was fast rising, transparent body and a yellow hue. Malty and somewhat of a skunky nose. The beer's flavor was malty. Tingly mouthfeel. Light bodied beer with no lacing observed.

The beer after its removal from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass an unbemused gold with a minimal white head that is frothy in texture, and after its demise the lace forms a very thin white sheet upon the glass. Nose id the prototypical lager sweet malt, crisp and the start sweet with a modest malt presence, top is slim in its feel to the palate. Finish has a moderate acidity and the hops meek, dry aftertaste, not anything worth my sampling again as far as I can see.

Pale yellow, no head...rather lackluster appearance.
Aroma is corny sweet and bland...nothing more to say...
Taste is more of the same, it's wet and passes easily past the lips, an okay beverage if your mouth is on fire, but not much of a beer at all.
Somehow, I expected better, not sure why, but this is an avoidable dude. I could've gotten an old bottle?
"Perfect companion for curry", promises the label, but I beg to differ. A tasty, not-too-bitter IPA would do the trick better. something with sufficient flavor to match the heat of spice. Just being moist doesn't cut it.
(Although, it's got enough malt and body to make it a better choice than a Swiller Lite or a Crudweiser...)
**P.S., didn't catch the stylistic designation at first, but now I can't help but notice that the flavor matches that of other Zwickels I can remember trying out.

Not much going on here just a glass of yellow water. Looks yellow wit a few small bubbles rising from the bottom. Not much as far as smell. very watery mouthfeel starts out crisp and clean, than has a very slight bitter taste. I would rather drink Miller Lite

Cloudy golden, thin, retaining head. Some light floral hops on the nose, but very delicate. Very light, some hops and some malts in the background. One-sided, not much to write home about. Smooth, crisp, yet not much flavor or taste, not sure where they are heading with this one. Jump up the hops and call me.

this one pours out a slightly hazy, golden color. minimal head and minimal lace. aroma of grainy malt and some floral hops. some grainy, malty, barley notes evident. hopping soft and floral. crisp and refreshing. nothing special. "perfect companion for curry" on the label. can't argue with that. a solid, if unspectacular indian lager that is pretty tasty. would pair well with spicy cuisine.
