Brewed with all natural malted barley, wheat, estate grown hops and selected yeast to bring you a refreshing Bavarian style Hefeweizen cerveza.
Our Jefeweizen is brewed with 55% 2-row pale malt, 45% malted wheat, and a generous amount of caramel malt to give the beer a rich coral. The selected Bavarian yeast strain imparts awesome banana fruit esters with hints of clove and spice on the palate complementing the body and hop profile of this flavorful and citrusy unfiltered wheat beer.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Medium dark golden, fast dissipating head. Aroma is overly sweet, bubble gum mostly, fake banana flavor. Taste also assaults with some sweetness, just off all the way around. Sugary sweet finish clings to the palate....

a unique take on a hefeweizen here at this awesome little brewery in wine country, so glad we stopped in! its got a little more color than a lot of these, some more caramel malt added i would reckon, but still with a nice soft haze and a big white frothing head that i love in the style. it smells like a nice warm fermented classic hefe type german ale yeast, with a cooked banana and autumn spice complexion, also very wheaty, and smelling somewhat lighter than it looks, i get almost no sweetness despite the caramel hue this has. the flavor is great, really simple, yeast driven with a light lemon sharpness to the yeast, a white wine note, definitely fermented on the warmer side, and then with the starchy wheat and banana, long and not quite dry to finish. lots of body from the wheat, some pleasing yeast esters, and a traditional german vibe overall, with just a little more malt character than most of these have, but still well short of the dunkel realm. tasty stuff as simple as it is. one of the better beers we tried in here...
