Great beer.
Poura dark black with about a fingers worth of tan head. Smells great, with a good hit of whiske. Along with that comes your normal RIS smells, roasted coco, milk chocolate. Taste starts off right away with the whiskey, nice and smooth. The coco comes to back it up and ends with a roasted coffee. Not quite as think in feel as your traditional stouts, but still has a good mouth feel. I really like this one. Strong offering from a new German craft beer world.

Wow, just wow. A gift from Matt Walsh a few weeks ago. This is a German Imperial Stout from Brau Kunst Keller. Brewed with 8 different malts and hops from Germany, USA and New Zealand. After it was brewed they barrel aged it in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. 10.5 Abv ...incredible beer!
