Yet another great brew from Braukunstkeller. Been working my way through the set and this is number 3, having the Whiskey and Bordeaux before this. Gotta say, it has been getting better and better.
This one pours a jet black, but didnt have too much of a head, half a finger and rather lacy tan head.
The smell is fantastic. Smacks you with a good, flavorful rum kick, not too overpowering though. It also smeels sweet with a bit of chocolate and roasted malts coming though.
Tastes just as great as it smells, with a wonderful rum note hidden in the sweet roasted goodness. Tastes like rum filled chocolates, which was a winner to me.
Not as thick feeling as most Imps but not watery by any means.
Over all, very respectable beer with a great taste. Shame this is a limited brew.

A great barrel aged Imperial Stout from the guys from BrauKunstKeller. The rum well hidden in the beer and noticable in the aftertaste
