Copper colored with a touch of crimson and a half inch high head of orangey foam that settles halfway and then slowly fades out. Malty and biscuity aroma, faint corn note, bits of coffee and cinnamon. Flavors of malty richness, toffee and butterscoth, biscuit and toast with a mild offsetting bitterness. No noticeable hop flavors, but lots of interesting malt flavors moving around, punctuated with a piercing ABV (9.8%) sting, adding a stone fruit sweetness along with a warmth and bite. As the label says, she's angry. As usual, the Firefly gang brings a ton of malt character to the pallet, but I would be interested in a version of this with a lower ABV that lets the flavors emerge even more.

22oz bottle purchased at the brewery. Pours a translucent orangey, ruby color with very little head. Some lacing. The aroma is sweet and boozey. Malty with some honey and herbal/floral hops. The taste is boozey and malty. Herbal hops with some honey and bread crust. Bitter finish with a floral aftertaste. Lightly carbonated. The bottle says Imperial Pale ale but it tastes more like an Imperial Amber or maybe a Barleywine to me, but what do I know. Overall, glad I bought one.

Has an incredible mouthfeel. Slightly sweet, but not artificially so. Aftertaste is bitter, which helps quell the maltiness characteristic of this style.
