Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into a .5L dimple mug. Picked up at a local beer shop, can has no date on it.
The beer pours a bright clear golden color with several streams of carbonation rising to the surface. A bleached white dense head of 1.5 cm foams up and fades slowly to a thin surface layer and leaves some scattered lattice on my mug.
the aroma is some biscuity malts and some light cracker scents mixing with some black tea and spicy hops. The nose is sort of mild but fits for the style.
The first sip reveals a light body with crisp texture and fine tingly carbonation. The flavor matches the nose with biscuit and crackery malt that rolls to some slight bitterness on the finish which also dries out leaving me thirsty for the next sip.
The beer drinks super easy and is enjoyable. Glad to have tried this brew from a solid CT brewery!

Clear golden pour, looks stunning in a pilsner glass. Effervescent. The head dissipates rapidly. Bitterness not overwhelming but lingers - wish I had a sausage and potato chips. This will pair easily with any meat, perhaps some fried oysters, snacks and cheese. Bread aroma is pleasant and enticing; flavor and body satisfying; vodnik invites a second pour.
