T: balanced between pineapple and orange from start to finish; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; light carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: aroma was better than the flavor; seemed under carbonated;

My can tasted and smelled like it had coriander in it, more like a witbier than an neipa. Im actually pretty disappointed in this offering. My cans are less than a month old. It has a little moderating bitterness for an neipa, which I appreciate. Its thin to medium bodied. But i am not getting anything that I would associate with citra hops. It really tastes and smells strongly of coriander… to the point where I’m feeling there was a canning/ labeling error and this really is a witbier. Phenols likely ruined this beer. This beer never should have been canned or put out for distribution. Not surprising Firefly closed soon after this release.

16 oz can. 6% ABV.
A: pours a dull yellow color with an interesting green tint to it. Nice looking bone white head.
S: citra hops for sure on this one. Fruity and a bit sweet. Grapefruit and pineapple. Orange and mango. Very nice.
T/M: moderately bitter citric hops. Citra flavors not unlike the aroma. Flavors don’t explode but are eased in. Medium to light bodied with some bubbly tingle. Aftertaste is dank and bitterish. Slight balance of sticky malts. Really a fruit juice domination.
O: Good ipa right here. Nothing too different but it is filled with juicy flavor and easy drinkability. Hope it catches on.
Cheers!!
