We visited summer 2018 while staying at a hotel across the street. Right off of Route 1 and I'd say very nice inside and the staff was friendly. The beers we sampled were just OK but the interior of the place was very nice and one of the nicer taprooms we've visited.

My wife and I stopped by here about a year ago, so things may have changed between then and now (review date). We also went on a Sunday and it was pretty dead. Oddly, the man working the bar (not a brewer/owner), the other patron and us were all from Worcester so that was interesting.
They had a lot of cask-aged and sour beers on-tap, from what I remember. They were solid though largely unspectacular.
It's a pretty interesting location, shortly off the main road and before heading onto Well's Beach. We're definitely looking forward to going back when next we are there.

Stopped in at this place on a whim while visiting in Maine, small serving area, nice atmosphere, and excellent IPA and Pale Ale on tap.

Hidden Cove is a tasting room that serves phenomenal pizza alongside their beers. I love the Jali beer (jalapeƱo and apricot)! Tasted it first at a craft beer fest in Boston and then had to make it up to the brewery in Wells for more. The owners are very friendly and the vibe is relaxed and comfortable. Took a growler to go and will always make it a point to stop in for a fill everytime I'm in the area.

Located in a former high-end steak house on Mile Road in Wells, this place has been open for about six months. The exterior looks like a restaurant, albeit a fancy one. You enter into the bar area. The bar is U-shaped and seats about a dozen people. There are a couple tables and three high tops in the bar. A pretty dark ceiling with twinkling stars. To the left off the bar is a room with twelve tables and five booths. There's a smaller room behind and to the right of the bar with five or six tables and some barrels as decoration. TVs present, three in the bar and two more in the main dining area. Neutral colors, pretty comfortable.
The restaurant is also the home of Captain Dick's Brewing Company. Their brewer, Gregg Spickler, makes some very nice beers. On tap during our visit were six beers: a session honey ale, a pale ale, a rye IPA, a black ale, a black IPA, and hoppy dick (a saison). I tried the rye IPA and hoppy dick. both were excellent. The IPA was nice and spicy, and the hoppy dick was a very sessionable farmhouse beer. They also have an occasional cask beer, and growlers are available.
The menu is burgers and pizzas primarily. There's also some apps, salads, and a few entrees. The pizza is Neopolitan, which I was told was a thin crust cooked in a very hot (like 900 degrees) oven. My wife and I had a fried pickle with tempura batter appetizer, very nice, and we shared a veggie pizza. Really enjoyed the pizza.
We sat at the bar and had excellent service. The place was busy when we got there, then calmed down. Our server was attentive and talkative, yet still left us alone to have a good time.
We had a an enjoyable visit, and will go back again.
