One-time brew, base beer is Betwixt Pale ale, with oak barrel planks and bourbon barrel planks then added to the brite tank. Mike Isley, describes the beer as licking a 2-by-4. It is very oakey on the nose, and even more so on the palate. A sipper for being an APA, if you like barrel-aged pale ales you would really enjoy this. A decent beer, but a little too overboard on the wood to be considered great imo. Worth trying.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
