on tap at LJubljana beer festival (forgot to take notes so won't be doing a full review)
Very decent stout variation. espresso/dark chocolate aromas. It looks very nice with a persistent one inch head that stays around a while. Feels more like a porter or a chocolate porter. Aromas are spot on, but it has a slightly sour, barnyardy aftertaste.
worth a try.

Pours very dark brown, almost black, one finger tan head, nice retention, sticky.
Smells great, nice roasted malts, rich dark chocolate, sweet coffee, bit of charcoal, faint vanilla and fainter licorice, juicy dark fruit esters (a bit of sourness is announced, too).
Taste isn't on the same level as the smell tho. Starts with heavily roasted malts and lemon zest, faint chocolate and some watered down coffee. A bit of musty grape, some burnt sugar and faint spice, lots of herbs, getting pretty "green" and dry afterwards, but the hops don't fit too great with the ashy, smoked wood, charcoal finish.
Medium body, tho a bit watery, more than medium, prickly carbonation. Not the best fit.
Overall, a decent effort. Easier to drink than other stouts, but you have to be ok with the sour pinch and the dry dusty aftertaste.

Pours dark brown with a very generous cream colored head which lasts for a while.
The aroma is quite mild, some coffee and roasted malts is all I could pick up.
The taste likewise quite mild. Pleasant bitterness throughout with nice roasted addition and some coffee.
Easy to drink but a little bland. Not the best one from this brewery.
