On tap at Ljubljana Beer Festival
A: Very pretty unfiltered ale. Murky crushed banana colored with slight foam. Leaves some lacing. Very very pretty looking beer.
S: Citrus (orange peel, lemon peel, some fatty pie meringue type smells), barnyard, some sourness. Smells ok. Medium Body.
T/M: Very very bland for a pale ale. Tastes slightly fishy, you can taste the barnyard. Muted aromas of tropical fruit and vineyard peach. Leaves a very sour feeling on the palate, with a short and unimpressive aftertaste without much hoppiness.
Not a classical pale ale, but still a very interesting variation. Worth a try if you can get it in slovenia, but not worth importing.

Pours with a very hazy coppery (somewhat orange) color and about two fingers of foamy head that takes time to settle down.
The aroma is pleasantly strong, but not too much. There are obvious hops with some citrusy fragrance.
The initial bitter kick is followed by semi-strong bitterness, with a bit dry and not too strong aftertaste.
It has a filling taste, decently strong but still easy to drink. Very nice effort from Pelicon.
