Second of three beers tried at Fixture on 10/29/13. I did not drink a full pint of this, only took sips from my wife's beer.
'Sha Shank wasn't great, hoped this would be better.
Pours a clear reddish-amber. Looks good.
Like all the beers I tried, the smell is minimal. Some sweetness, not much else.
Taste is odd. Very sweet, no balance whatsoever. Fairly thin, but it's hard to tell with the sweetness bomb going off.
Mouthfeel - Okay. However, there is something wrong with all their beers, they produce a burning feeling in the throat.
Overall - Not that good. This reminds me of my cousins homebrews using malt-extract that I can't ever finish an entire bottle of.
I will return to Fixture only because this was their first batch of brews. I'll give them a little time to get dialed in, but they really have a long way to go.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
