Poured a nice cloudy, unfiltered amber with one finger of foamy white head that slowly receded and left nice lacing down the glass. Quite nice looking. Scents of earthy and floral hops, a bit of orange flesh and zest, a nice pine resin undertone and slightest hint of fruitiness. A nice IPA aroma, it's a bit subdued compared to many examples, but it is elegant, balanced and pleasant. Flavor begins with a pleasant bright fruitiness, with notes of orange flesh, a bit of orange zest and a faint hint of pine resin. Orange flesh and zest continue into the middle of the sip, with more abundant pine resin flavors and notes of grapefruit peel and flesh with a faint fruitiness. Finish is medium-dry with notes of grapefruit peel, pine resin and faint notes of alcohol and a little bit of orange peel and flesh. Aftertaste is citrus peel and pine resin. A nice, bright, fruity, citrusy, piney flavor profile. It's overall bitterness is moderate, but it is quite pleasant. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with a lightly resinous mouthfeel that finishes smooth and a lightly biting carbonation. Quite nice and very easy to drink. Overall this is a nice little IPA that hits the flavor notes of the style fairly well, but goes for a bright citrus character with a nice pine resin bite over other flavors. It is overall quite balanced and a nice beer.
