Comet hops don’t get in the way of this rich malt forward ale. For those who enjoy an amber ale on the porch in the evening, give this mining district version a try. Guaranteed to please.

On tap at the brewery.

Pours an amber color with a small head and plenty of lacing.

Aroma is sweet and fruity with a roasted maltiness in the background. Not overly pungent.

Taste is similar. Quite fruity, almost a sour. Not much in the way of hops. I'd say this is mostly malty and a bit tart.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth with velvety carbonation.

Not my cup of tea, my least favorite beer so far from this brewery. That said, this will definitely appeal to folks that prefer more malty or tart brews.

A reddish/ brown color. One inch off-white head with some lace.
Sweet malt aroma, some fruit and floral hops.
Fruity taste, sweet, late hops.
Light-bodied, goes down easily.
