Didn't eat here but gave it a 4.25 since that is my average... Beer was ok but it was a very nice place to just hang out and enjoy the day

This is an up and coming group that has great beer. Only in business a year. Don't let the location fool you(I almost didn't get out). I was there on a Wed night and it was dead, but Alex(the owner) said that was typical and if I was around on Thurs there would be a corn hole tournament and a lot more people. Alex is a chemistry major who loved to make home brew and took it to the next level once the state changed their alcohol content laws. If you enjoy dark beer, ask for "The Margo". They are on the water and it's a great setting.

This place is right on the water in Gulfport, MS and is just an absolutely beautiful location. I checked out when it was still a bit chilly, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

The taps rotate I assume, but there were several solid offerings while I was there. I had the Double IPA which was extremely fresh and nice and hoppy. I tried the black IPA as well which was good.

The guys are great - friendly, knowledgable, and just good to talk to. I went alone but had a nice time chatting with the brewer and the other patrons.

There is food available - which looked good - and you can also order from the restaurant next door. I did not try any but likely will on a return trip.

I would suggest going during happy hour, as the beers are buy one get one free. Two pints for $4? Can't beat that in my book!

If you're in the area or live nearby, definitely give this place a shot!

A tricky place to find, but well worth the research and trip. Gulf coast residents (and travelers like me) are starting to enjoy one of the state's best kept beer secrets. Located near the I-10 and Hwy 49 intersection in Gulfport, Mississippi Brewing Company is a diamond by the back bay. If you're traveling south, take a left into the shopping center that has the Starbucks and Chili's, go all the way to the end, hang a right, then a quick left under the bridge. That's Seaway Road. Go about a mile and look for the water tower. Take a right and head down the back road to The Dock restaurant. MBC is right next to it.

It's all outdoors, a great place to chill on a sunny afternoon. The Vasquez brothers, Alex (head brewer) and Samson (president, brewmaster) are very enthusiastic about their brews. A flight of 4 MBC brews is only $6, so enjoy a tasty sampler. They also serve up chili, gumbo and natchos and sell their own hot sauce called Boom!

Pints are $4 for the MBC brands and $5 for other brands. Happy hour is 3-6; MBC pints are only $2!
Enjoy some of the best new microbrewed beers on the coast, take in the view and chill.
