Bought at Teign Cellars in Newton Abbott on sale for 2 pounds
Look - 4.25 - very dark brown color with huge billowy solid beige head that leaves nice chunky lacing, maybe a little too much head because of over carbonation and age
Small - 4.0 - light roasty
Taste - 4.25 - smooth with subtle chocolate and toasty notes that get more distinct whilst savoring - drinking a chunk of head accentuates the creaminess, maybe slightly over carbonated
Feel - 4.25 - medium mouthfeel
Overall - 4.25 - a darn good porter - not the best, but highly quaffable and very well done
