L- Looks like a Long Island iced tea. Rather murky pale brown. Pours with fat white large-bubble head, that almost entirely cleared within a few seconds.
S- Tropical fruits.
T- Hops, brutally dry, almost makes my tongue curl up and hoist a white flag. It's no surprise it being 3.5% that there isn't much body of note to come in and balance the dryness. Some perfumed notes.
M- Acidic, dry, limited dimensions, those present over-dominate.
O- I dropped in to Oddbins yesterday for the first time in many years, just to pick up any beers I hadn't seen elsewhere and this was one of them. £3.50 for a 440ml can, the can mostly in black conjouring up images of something 'special'. To me it's a modern day fashionable hop-bomb. The lable talks of 'refreshingly modern', 'uncompromisingly vibrant palate'. I'm unsure what the 'textural mouthfeel' is referring to.
Over-priced, lacking dimensions, wrong style for this time of year when something meatier works better.
Canned on: 31/10/2018 BB 01/03/2019. Also marked as 'Vegan friendly', well obviosuly.
