330ml can served in a tulip. Pours one shade shy of black with a tight, half inch, mocha-colored head that quickly dissipates towards the shoulders. Nose expresses dark malts, molasses and brewer's licorice. Taste consistent with nose, with the addition of a hit of cherry upfront, followed by notes of custard towards the middle and some bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an assertive carbonation. Overall, a solid IS.
