Copenhagen 20/9 2021. 44 cl can from Væskebalancen, Valby Langgade, Valby. Metallic can with a purple and a pink number 5 hanging out.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a subtle fruity sweetness mingling with a more aggressive, citric scent. Peach and pineapple. Grapefruit and strong notes of pine.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness balanced by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while into a dry finish.
Potent, well balanced DIPA which avoids being boozy.
