Copenhagen 18/4 2020. 44 cl can from Ølkassen webshop. Stylish black can with off-white letters just giving the name of the beer and the hop varieties used.
Pours hazy, murky golden yellow with a brown-is tint. Small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with sweet fruitiness and a solid acidic, citric touch. Papaya and peach. Canned pineapple. Hints of sweet cherries. Grape fruit and citrus concentrate.
Medium strong carbonation. Soft, Smoot, slightly thick, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Well-made and intense Session IPA.
