Copenhagen 10/3 2024. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Yellowish can with a drawing of a an old man carrying baskes of grapes. The version I am drinking is holding a ABV of 8,4.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with something sweet and malty mingling with burnt and earthy scents. Roasted dark malts. Toffee and caramel. Cocoa and coffee. Burnt peat and whiff of wood.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Well balanced and pleasant Porter with a light touch of wood.

The color is a very dark brown, clear. Beige, short-lived foam made of small bubbles.
The aroma of bitter coffee and dark chocolate with the addition of herbs, burnt plum jam and raisins.
The taste is similar to the aroma, coffee with dark chocolate, unfortunately with a slight soapy aftertaste, burnt jam is also repeated. Medium bitterness. Moderate carbonation. High drinkability.
