Copenhagen 14/5 2021, 75 cl bottle from Kihoskh, Sdr. Boulevard, Kbh. V. Drawing of what looks like a stereotypical every-day sene in France with a lot of gentlemen with berets and a lot of ladies with scarves in their hair. A cute donkey to complete the picture.
Pours unclear orange with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sharp, distinct, sour scent mingling with a light soft sweet fruity odor and a funky streak. Sour gooseberries and currants. Vinous touch of green grapes. Barnyard and soured cheese.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is bone-dry.
Fine, dry and sour specimen with a restrained funky touch.

750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Golden colour, large white head. Nice aroma of spicy saison yeast (yes: rustic), hints of gooseberry jam and herbs. The flavour is fruity, spicy and slightly acidic. Moderate bitterness.

Bright orange, lightly veiled. Foam, one finger.
In the smell, a lot of funky, ripe fruit notes, pear, apricot, fruit in syrup, tangerine. Very fresh and intense.
The taste starts sweet, with peach, white grapes, white wine, again fresh and pleasant.
Again funky brett in the aftertaste, along with citrus fruit, tartness, white grapes. Then spiicness, pepper.
A very good bber, intense and variegated.
