Copenhagen 8/7 2022. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Black can with drawing of corn eyes and hop flowers in Burning Sky's usual design.
Pours unclear golden amber with a big, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam just managing to cover the surface the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sugary sweetness with touch of alcohol mingling with hints of citrus fruit. Toffee, honey and brown sugar. Dark, sweet alcohol. Citrus and lemongrass.
Low carbonation.Slightly thick, oily, bit greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intensewith heavy, sugary sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet but with a distinct bitter undertone. A bit searing. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent and sweet - but with hoppy, citric touch to lighten things up.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.5%. Hazy reddish brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of toffee, molasses, caramel / fudge, alcohol, hints of dried figs. Smooth flavour, mainly the same elements as the aroma, but not so much molasses, and not too sweet. Decent bittering hops. Nice to drink.

Murky shades of burnt orange pour with a full mushroom colored head. Very traditional complexion in smell, taste and feel: robust barley with a good snarl of intensity bring earth, wood root and toasted caramel, while the finish whispers with orange slice and pine. Feel is dry and full without being heavy, barley and their sidekick hops gives a great finishing snarl
