The second destination was this time brewed at Burning Sky with the wonderful Kernel and Elusive folk. A US style IPA with a lean malt profile and chock full of Yakima Valley hops. Crisp, with notes of grapefruit, orange citrus and pine resin.

Frederiksberg 6/1 2026. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a small white head. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light odor of stone fruit mingling with a stronger scent of citrus fruit. Peach and apricots. Citrus and lime.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. Fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter but not too heavy. Lingers for a bit. Finish is rather dry.
Refreshing and light as a feather.

Pours a fairly clear yellow with soapy head.
Smell is crisp and fruity with notes of citrus, pine, peach and pepper with some floral hints.
Taste is fruity and a bit herbal. Solid bitterness and notes of pine, grapefruit and pepper with hints of white wine and florals.
Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice modern IPA.
