Copenhagen 1/10 2024., 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Drawing of a guy in tweed speaking in a old fashioned pay phone on the can.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a mid-sized, frothy whiter head. Stable. Settles as a uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a subtle sweet odor of exotic fruit mingling with a stronger scent of citrus fruit. Peach and pineapple. Citrus and grapefruit. Resin.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture. A bit fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter but a bit thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Come on over.
