Had on tap at their brewery in the Finger Lakes.
L: Pours a deep amber color with thick off-white head.
S: Caramel sweets and citrusy hops.
T/F: Taste is very malt forward without being overly sweet. Nice alcohol warmth and a good citrus/pine hop finish to keep the beer honest. Mouthfeel is a little zesty.
O: A nice big red ale and by far the best of the Climbing Bines beers I sampled. Stood out much more than their other offerings. A good beer from a fairly average brewery.

On tap at Rio Tomatlan in Canandaigua, NY. Great pairing with the awesome Mexican food at this place.
Pours a dark but clear red, with a one inch head, and strings of lacing down the glass.
Smells include grainy malt, caramel, and pine.
This is a big, malt forward red ale, but with some nice hop bitterness on the back end. Clearly a lot of dark caramel malt was used here as the huge caramel tones mix well with the earthy, piney hop flavor. Awesome.
Full bodied, very drinkable for the ABV. Crisp. Low carbonation.
Might be rating this higher than it actually is due to how much I enjoyed it paired with the food I got, but I don't really care.
