This cloudy S.M.A.S.H. IPA has a grapefruit and pine hop aroma with a clean dry finish. The grain is two row malted barley from Flower City Malt Lab from Rochester, NY. The hops are Timbermans Centennial.

This one pours a light and clear amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like wet and spicy grain, grapefruit, and cut grass.

I know that Climbing BInes is a hop farm and they're gonna be all gung-ho about using local NYS ingredients in their beers, but it just seems like this just has subpar ingredients in it. It's got a sort of wet grainy and wet leaf pile sort of flavor to it, with a bit of hop spice and lots of sweet maltiness. It's not undrinkable, it's just so unremarkable.

This is light bodied, and very astringent on the back end, with a lower level of drinkability because of all that.

It's hard to find much to like about this. It's not horrible, but there are certainly a lot of flaws here.
