On tap at Honeoye Falls Distillery in Honeoye Falls, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear light straw yellow color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like very little- there's a little bit of hay, honey, and grass, and not much else.
The taste is the same basically- this is a weakly attempted version at the style. Obviously a kolsch is not going to be a flavor banger, but there's basically nothing to this. There's a light sweetness and a little bit of hoppy bitterness, but it's all kind of insipid.
This has a bit of a flabby/underattenuated mouthfeel to it, with a normal level of carbonation.
This is a not a top level attempt at the style.
