A burnt chestnut brown color, on the pour, with a lingering off-white head. I mostly get malt and earth on the nose. A light start upfront, on the drinking, with nice earthy malts, a smooth flow, and a subtle bitter finish. A nice dry toasted/roasted tone settles in the more I consume. I get a very tasty nutty flavor as well. Additional notes of toasted bread, caramel, vanilla, nutmeg, brown sugar, and earthy hops. The mouth feel is light/moderate and very well balanced. Not to heavy but crisp and clean without approaching water.
Overall, pretty decent stuff.

Fantastic head production, with good retention to match. Body is a slightly murky brown.
Nose seems on the spot: a blend of hops, ranging from earthy to piney to even a touch of citrus, on top of a caramel grain malt base, and a bit of vanilla showing through. Slight toffee and pecan from the malt.
Flavor follows, and nails the profile: it's a nutty, roasty brown ale, well balanced, and with a nice hit of vanilla. Really an enjoyable brew from front to back.
Very lively with plenty of sting.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a light brown color with a small white head. The aroma is of semi sweet malt. The taste matches the aroma. Overall, a good brown ale.

Way to sweet without any candy or nutty taste.
