Copenhagen 4/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Bryggervangen, Kbh Ø. Drawing of sultry secretary in a very tight short on the label. Probably produced before Me-Too entered the scene. Tag Line is “Seductive Blond Ale”.
Pours unclear pale yellow with small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate Lacing.
Aroma is intense, sharp and boozy. Sweet malts, fermented fruit. Sharp sourish notes. Strong presence of alcohol. Light carbonation. Thin, oily, greasy texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is quite sweet. Lingering. Notable presence of alcohol.
Reminds me more of a harsh, Danish imperial lager than a “seductive Blond Ale”.

330 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 8.2%. Golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of Belgian ale yeast and white kandij sugar syrup, a hint of citric hops. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, moderate bittering hops.
