Copenhagen 8/6 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Bryggervangen, Kbh Ø. Drawing of inviting lady in a red dress in disarray and gaudy trinkets on the label.

Pours opaque, dark brown with medium-sized light beige head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is intense, dark, sweet and with a distinct presence of alcohol. Dark chocolate in abundance, brown sugar, molasses, cocoa. Hints of licorice.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, sticky, soft texture.

Flavor is heavy sweet. Followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is quite sweet as well. Boozy presence. Lingering.

A sweet, sticky boozer making a presence. Good one.

January 2020: 500 ml bottle, from Skjold Burne Hjørring. ABV is 10%, IBU 50. Hops are Magnum and Mosaic. Black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roast malts, mild coffee, vanilla and lactose. Sweet flavour with the same ingredients, very distinct chocolate, vanilla and lactose, also caramel. Maybe too sweet? Roast malts, coffee and bittering hops in the aftertaste.
