Pours murky maroon with a red hue. Medium-sized yellow-ish head. Fairly stable. Settles as 1 cm thick, fluffy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a medium strong sweet, malty odor and light grainy, sour notes. Caramel, toffee, lightly roasted dark malts. Sour notes with hints of citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Classic sweet-ish brown ale. Actually not much of a smart consultant-type.

500 ml bottle, from Erling Christensen Møbler, Sindal. ABV is 5.5%, IBU 35. Deep brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of brown malts, caramel, brown bread and prunes, hints of citric hops and dark berries. Soft mouthfeel, easy drinking. Distinct flavour of brown and roast malts, hints of coffee and chocolate, notes of grapefruity and piney hops, good bitterness.
